FAQs

What is the seller fee?

Slow Fades charges a 13% commission per item sold, with a $2 minimum. No listing fees — you only pay when something sells.

How long does shipping take?

Sellers ship independently and set their own shipping cost per listing. Once your item ships, the seller will provide a tracking number. Delivery time depends on the seller's location and the shipping method they choose.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Listed shipping prices reflect domestic (U.S.) shipping. If you're an international buyer, message the seller before purchasing to arrange shipping — they'll update the listing price to include the agreed rate. International orders may be subject to customs duties or import taxes collected by your country on delivery.

Where do sellers ship?

Sellers can ship anywhere they're willing to. If you're outside the U.S., message the seller first to confirm they can ship to your country before purchasing.

What's your return policy?

All sales are final, so please review listings carefully before buying. If something's genuinely wrong — the item doesn't match its description, wasn't disclosed accurately, or arrived damaged — you have 5 days from delivery to open a dispute.

Disputes aren't for buyer's remorse or normal wear that was already disclosed in the listing, and misuse of the dispute process may affect your ability to buy on Slow Fades going forward.

How does condition grading work?

Every listing includes a condition rating: New, Like New, Light Wear, Faded, or Heavily Worn. Sellers are expected to grade honestly — check the Seller Guide for definitions.

Can I negotiate the price?

Only if the listing says "Open to offers." If so, message the seller directly. Listings marked "Firm" are not open to negotiation.

How do I know a seller is legitimate?

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. To keep things safe for everyone, all communication and payment stay on-platform — so please don't pay a seller directly outside Slow Fades.

When do I get paid as a seller?

Payout is released as soon as the buyer confirms receipt — or automatically after 14 days if they don't, as long as there's no open dispute.
