Measurements

Lay flat on a clean surface. Use a soft tape measure. All measurements in inches.

Jeans + Shorts: Actual Waist (across waistband lying flat, doubled), Thigh (across thigh at crotch seam, doubled), Front Rise (top of waistband to crotch seam, front), Inseam (crotch seam to bottom of leg), Leg Opening (across hem lying flat, doubled).

Jackets + Shirts: Chest (across chest below armhole, doubled), Shoulder to Shoulder (back shoulder seam to shoulder seam), Back Length (center back collar to bottom hem), Sleeve Length (shoulder seam to end of cuff), Collar Size — shirts only (inside of collar band lying flat).

Overalls: Waist (across waist lying flat, doubled), Thigh (across thigh at crotch seam, doubled), Front Rise (top of bib to crotch seam, front), Inseam (crotch seam to bottom of leg), Leg Opening (across hem lying flat, doubled), Bib Height (top of bib to top of waistband).

Photos

Required: front flat, back flat, selvedge ID, any flaws shown clearly.

Recommended: hardware, label, full flat lay. Natural light, neutral background, no filters. Photograph every angle and show wear, fading, repairs, or alterations honestly — buyers who know exactly what they're getting come back, and accurate photos are your best protection if a dispute ever arises.

Condition

Be honest here — it builds trust, and buyers appreciate knowing exactly what they're getting.

New: Unworn.

Like New: Worn once or twice, no visible wear.

Light Wear: Fading beginning, no flaws.

Faded: Visible wear patterns, minor flaws acceptable.

Heavily Worn: Significant fading, repairs, or wear — list all flaws clearly.

Shipping

Set your own flat shipping cost when creating your listing — this is shown to the buyer separately from the item price at checkout.

Heads up — buyers won't see your shipping cost until checkout, so it helps to mention it in your item description too (e.g. "Domestic shipping: $15"). If you ship internationally, just add a quick note asking buyers to message you first before purchasing.

Ship your item within a reasonable timeframe once it sells, and provide a tracking number through your dashboard once it's shipped.

Orders of $500 or above should use signature confirmation with your carrier — it's the simplest way to protect yourself from a non-delivery claim.

Fees

Slow Fades charges a 13% commission per item sold, with a $2 minimum. No listing fees. No buyer fees.

Fees are deducted automatically from your payout.

Payouts

Payouts are released automatically 14 days after your item is marked delivered, unless the buyer opens a dispute. If the buyer confirms receipt sooner, your payout is released right away.

Off-Platform Transactions

We know sellers sometimes list in multiple places — that's totally fine. What we can't allow is redirecting a Slow Fades buyer to complete the sale elsewhere. Keep communication and payment on-platform; it protects both of you.

Violations result in permanent removal and forfeiture of pending payouts.

Photo License

By listing on Slow Fades, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use your listing photos for promotional purposes, including social media. This is free promotion for your listing.

International Sellers

International sellers are welcome, provided you can complete payout setup through our payment provider — a small number of countries aren't currently supported for seller payouts.

If you're unsure whether your country is supported, contact us before listing.

International orders are not shipped DDP — buyers may be responsible for duties or import taxes on delivery, separate from what they pay you at checkout.
